•  The Middlesex Retirement Board Advisory Council unanimously
               approved the transfer of the assets of the Middlesex Retirement
               System to the Pension Reserve Investment Management Board.
               The Middlesex Retirement Board had previously voted to take
               this action on November 27, 2006, and the System´s assets
               were transferred on February 1, 2007.  Approval by the
               Advisory Council was made necessary due to the subsequent
               enactment of Chapter 68 of the Acts of 2007, An Act to
               Reduce the Stress on Local Property Taxes Through
               Enhanced Pension Fund Investment.  Transfer of the
               System´s assets to the Pension Reserve Investment
               Management Board does not impact the administration of
               retirement benefits by the Middlesex Retirement Board.
